Proper nutrition is the key to any type of lifestyle modification program. It deals with type and quality of foods. Natural and unprocessed foods are packed with nutrients, which are readily absorbed by our bodies. The goal of modification of nutrition is to be able to switch to simple whole and unprocessed ingredients and have balanced meals. Reading and understanding nutritional facts labels on packages is just as important as being able to visually separate nutritious from non nutritious foods. Any lifestyle modification program has to have nutrition as their central point.
